Concordia Online CCA Courses Selection System will be Opened

Our CCA

CCA, also known as Co-Curricular Activity, is a supplemental curriculum that helps students grow beyond the main subjects and is an important part of the school-based curriculum system that Concordia is building. 

The Co-Curricular Activity program is led by the concept of "China and the World", which helps students learn about the earth and human beings, the world, and the life and culture of foreign countries, with a focus on cultivating an international perspective and improving their English communication skills.

This semester, we have around 40 CCA classes to help students see the wider world and make their academic life more rich and varied. 

Sports & Physical Education

The purpose of this class is to enhance students' physical fitness, establish a fair competitive mindset, and foster teamwork. "A civilised mind and a strong body" has become the mission of the new era. The sports programs include soccer, basketball, field hockey, physical fitness, jiu-jitsu, boxing, baseball, and tennis.

Music & Performance

The purpose of this category is to combine students' interests and talents, and to cultivate in them a taste for elegance, an appreciation and tolerance of diverse cultures, and a unique insight and creativity in the arts. Courses include guitar, violin, guzheng, pipa, vocal chorus, dance, etc.

  Academic Classes

Concordia believes that students are more than examination machines, and education is not a one-way input. The teachers of Concordia put the students at the centre of the class, allowing them to learn the subject content through observation, games, practice and discussion. 

The academic classes this semester include Mathematical Thinking Extension, Intellectual Tangrams, Go, and Calligraphy.

Visual Arts Classes 

Children are natural artists. Art education focuses on intuitive, perceptual cognitive skills and develops the right side of the human brain. In line with the development concept of whole-person education, Concordia offers art courses such as Comprehensive Art Blast, Clay and Printmaking, Three-dimensional Creative Art, and Children's Illustration to enrich children's growing experience.

STEM Classes

STEM focuses on the development of hands-on skills and scientific thinking, allowing children to build up their knowledge of the world from an early age, and helping them to improve their problem-solving skills in the future through the cultivation of hands-on skills. 

We have prepared special classes for students in Mad Lab, Rubik's Cube, and Drones, and we look forward to seeing you all join the STEM family!

In the CCA open day event, we saw the bright smiling faces of the children and teachers. The teachers used rich and interesting language to lead the children of Concordia on a cultural traversal time and time again.

Our CCA class selection system will be open at 10am on June 25, 2023. Parents and students can access the system through WeChat "Smart Campus" for online course selection.

We believe that every child has unlimited potential and can do great things in the areas they are interested in and are good at. Concordia endeavours to provide rich opportunities to support this. We will offer more elective courses in the future, so stay tuned!
